La Posadita .... About Us: Oscar Cardeillac and Cristina Castro, owners of the property, have been teaching tango for over 15 years and are well known in the tango scene of Montevideo. especially in Joventango, the largest and most renowned institution of tango in Uruguay.

The Posadita began in 2007 with our first tango tourists from the United States who continue to return every year. Oscar and Cristina say, “We are always improving our services to offer our guests the best possible experience.”

Languages spoken: English and Spanish. We are happy to provide information about tango, as well as our beautiful parks and beaches. It is pleasure for us to help our guests explore the city.
